The Wetlab Company Story
Our story began in 1996, back then we were a small wetlab service company located in the heart of Innsbruck, Austria.
Today, we are honored to connect with thousands of ophthalmologists with exceptional training wetlabs in over 60 countries.

Folklore
MTS stands for microsurgical training system; it was found in 1996 by Karlheinz Hannig. mts is now regarded as a pioneer in the field of state-of-the-art ophthalmic wetlabs and sets new standards in practical further training.
MTS transformed into a limited liability company in October 2013, and moved to Oetztal Bahnhof, Austria, in August 2015. In 2016, we opened our second branch in Guadalajara, Mexico. It´s one of the biggest milestones to expend our market in North and Latin America.
